Advocacy for the Indigenous Gathering Place is crucial in realizing our vision for truth and reconciliation.
You can make a difference by talking to friends, family, and colleagues about the importance of this initiative, writing to local government officials to garner support, writing your own letter of support and following and sharing our content on social media.

Donate
We rely on grants and donations to further the vision for the Indigenous Gathering Place. We are a registered non-profit society incorporated in Alberta in 2018, and are currently in the process of becoming a registered charity. Donations are used to pay for honoraria and gifting for the guidance of Elders, communications, and costs associated with gathering as a community. We consider anyone who supports the vision of an Indigenous Gathering Place in Calgary to be member of our community and welcome you here. There’s no cost to be a member of the Indigenous Gathering Place Society of Calgary, however, we do rely on donations and grants to fund our activities at this point on our journey, and welcome members to “pay as you can” to support our efforts.
